Gioia Speaks to Tara Hills Crowd
County Supervisor hosted breakfast with new constituents.
Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia outlined county services available to a gathering of about 40 people at a Saturday breakfast meeting. The session at the Tara Hills Mobile Manor Community Hall, served as an introduction to new constituents added to his district with the redrawing of political boundaries last summer.
Gioia spoke about the variety of services that the county provides the unincorporated community of Tara Hills and to neighboring sections of Pinole. He took questions from the audience about subjects such as illegal garbage dumping, animal control and residential burglaries.
He also emphasized his involvement in health and youth violence prevention issues.
Gioia and Supervisor Federal Glover represent Pinole, with their respective districts roughly divided Interstate 80. Previously, all of Pinole was in the district of Supervisor Gayle Uilkema.

Did he mention that he, Federal Glover and the County workers want to extort money for the bloated County Government in the guise of cleaning water instead of using the the excessive money they already have?? I thought not
